The two main types of Igneous Rock are intrusive and extrusive rock. Intrusive is below Earth surface. And Extrusive is above Earth surface. Two main types of Metamorphic are Foliate Metamorphic Rock and Non-Foliate Metamorphic. Foliate Metamorphic Rock is layed or branded appearance that is produce by exposure to heat and directed pressure. But, unlike Foliate Metamorphic Rock Non-Foliate doesn't have a branded or its not layed. Two types of Sedimentary rocks are Chemical Sedimentary Rock and Organic Sedimentary Rock. Chemical Sedimentary Rock form when dissolved materials precipitate from solution. Organic Sedimentary Rock form from accumulation of plants and animal debris.
